Cisco has always done an amazing job with catering to small and medium business. The Cisco 2960-X series is another generation to the already popular 2960 series that will enable the typical small to medium business to function at an enterprise level without the enterprise budget. The 2960-X series switches offer a fixed configuration of Ethernet switches that are not only Gigabit, but also stackable. The 2960-X was specifically designed for easy deployment and operational efficiency. These switches are also energy cautious and have a large range of IOS software features.
Within the 2960-X family, the switches come in either 24 or 48 variations and have gigabit Small Form Factor (SFP) or 10G SFP+ uplinks. Each switch is equipped with FlexStack Plus. This enables the switch to be stacked up to eight switches and can produce 80 Gbps of stack throughput. Along with stacking, each unit will feature USB and Ethernet managed interfaces, LAN Base or LAN Lite, and energy management features. Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+) is available on most models.
Switching capacity on the 2960-X series come in twenty-two percent higher than the 2960-S units as they have a total capacity of 216 Gbps. Each switch will offer either two 10 gig uplinks or four 1 gig uplinks and zero-touch configuration as well as IOS software updates when you are deploying the 2960-X switch.

- Cisco 2960X series switches feature FlexStack technology. The hot-swappable Cisco FlexStack-Plus module can be added to any 2960X switch with a FlexStack-Plus slot and allows users to stack up to 8 Cisco Catalyst 2960X switches.

- The Cisco Catalyst 2960X series of switches provide a range of security features that allow users to limit access to their networks and to mitigate threats. Intelligent PoE+ and Perpetual PoE
- Select models support both IEEE 802.3af PoE and IEEE 802.3at PoE+ (up to 30W per port). The PoE power allocation is dynamic and power mapping scales up to a maximum of 740W of PoE+ power. In addition, some models support Perpetual PoE. With this feature, the PoE+ power is maintained during a switch reload which allows users to avoid disruption.

OUR HISTORY
Atlantech Resellers, Inc. was established in 2001 by life-long entrepreneur Craig Haynie. The primary focus of Atlantech is selling quality, pre-owned and refurbished Cisco equipment. From 2001 - 2006, Craig along with his wife Christin, worked together to grow Atlantech with mostly sales to brokers within the pre-owned network equipment industry.
The husband and wife team started a website in 2005 mostly on a "hunch", and the website soon became a thriving marketplace for network accessories. The e-commerce site focused on accessories for all of the Cisco equipment the business was built on; rackmount kits, power supplies, and replacement parts were some of the first products for sale at CablesAndKits. In early 2006, it became apparent that the business model was changing focus and that the accessory sales side of the business could stand on its own. Since changing focus in 2006, Atlantech (now primarily doing business as CablesAndKits) has become one of the leading sources within the used network equipment industry for all Cisco accessories. The company that was once two people is now more than thirty people strong and growing rapidly in established markets and in new markets.
Today, the product lines found on CablesAndKits vary from replacement parts and rackmount kits for Cisco equipment to general networking accessories such as Cat5e/Cat6 patch cables and LED patch panels. With strong roots in the pre-owned network equipment industry, CablesAndKits also stocks and sells pre-owned Cisco equipment.
